Our program is an exciting new economic development initiative to promote the development and expansion of high-technology businesses across Dane, Jefferson and Rock County. Tax credits will be made available to high-technology businesses locating or expanding in our Technology Zone.
The assistance provided through the Capital Ideas Technology Zone Program, coupled with other local and statewide business development tools will continue establishing the Capital Ideas Technology Zone as a location poised to capture increased high-technology business and knowledge-based employment growth.

The Capital Ideas Technology Zone is located in Southern Wisconsin. The Zone is easily accessible from I-90/94 from Minneapolis/St. Paul, Chicago, Milwaukee, and Northern Wisconsin, and all other major state highways.
